Connection isn't all or nothing. It is dimensional — meaning it can be stronger one day, weaker the next, and both are fine. The key is whether we are aware of it or not. Connection behaves far more like capital — something you invest in, that sits, that grows, and that eventually pays back a return.
This free training introduces Connection Capital® and the return it pays: at home with your children, and at work in how you show up the next morning.

The Harvard Study of Adult Development followed its participants for over eighty years. Its central finding was not about wealth, diet or career. It was that the quality of our relationships is the strongest single contributor to our wellbeing and longevity across the whole course of a life.
Most people treat that finding as a nice sentiment. I treat it as an asset class. If connection is that load-bearing, I think it deserves to be understood the way we understand anything else that compounds: as a thing in itself, that sits, grows, and gives back.
I call the asset Connection Capital®, and the return ROC — Return on Connection.
Connection attracts connection. The more connected you are to your authentic self, the easier it becomes to connect with every other part of your life.
Dr Gauri SethWhat builds it is different for everyone, and I have built the framework to make room for that. For one person the investment is an hour entirely alone. For another it is a salsa class. Both deposit into the same account. What matters is that the account exists, that it can run into deficit, and that the deficit shows up somewhere — usually in the room where you least want it to.
"If you want to understand how to connect with your children, speak to Gauri."

Discord at home does not stay at home. Why the drain is rarely the thing you think it is, and why willpower is the wrong instrument for it.
ROC in practice — fewer flashpoints at home, more available attention at work, and a child who feels wanted, respected and heard.
One place to start this week. Small enough to actually do on the day you have actually had.
I'm a psychiatry-trained doctor, MRCPsych, a mother of three, and the founder of Attune IN®.
I've created digital content for the World Health Organisation and published with international journals. I built Attune IN® because the science that explains what is happening inside a child's developing mind has never been translated into something a parent can use in the middle of a difficult morning.
The Connection Capital® framework came out of both halves of that work: my psychiatry and psychotherapy training, and the actual evenings in my own house with three children in it.
My work, training and collaborations include the World Health Organisation, the BMJ, Imperial College London and King's College London.
Rather like the wifi. Invisible, easy to ignore, and immediately obvious the moment it drops. The training takes about twenty-five minutes, costs nothing, and you can start tonight.
